Michelle began her writing career in college writing for the University of Utah's daily newspaper, The Daily Utah Chronicle, writing slice of life news articles. She also interned with several magazines as she completed her degree. After graduation, Michelle began working with numerous magazines including contributions to Salt Lake City Weekly, Utah Bride & Groom magazine, and Catalyst magazine. She has also worked with marketing firms to create magazine-style marketing pieces.

Michelle is versed in the more technical aspects of writing, as well, producing technical manuals, quick-reference guides, and online help content for software users. She also formats and edits the occasional thesis or dissertation that may cross her path.
